Get Ready with Girl Scouts™ Program

After you complete the short form and click Create Account, a new pop-up window will direct you to Verify Your Email. A verification code will be waiting in your email inbox; copy and paste the code into the box and click Verify.

Next, you’ll Add Details about your Girl Scout and her caregiver.

Please include the grade she is currently in or just finished in spring 2025.
Since you are signing up for the Get Ready with Girl Scouts program, you are starting as a “non-troop member.” After you sign up, your local Girl Scout network (called a council) will reach out to you to share more ways to explore all Girl Scouts has to offer.
We ask for both your girl’s and her caregiver’s birth dates to verify that she is eligible for the program and that her caregiver is an adult.
Pro Tip: Include the address where you’d like to receive her Get Ready with Girl Scouts program. You can change this in the future, and we’ll send an email before each shipment to make sure we’re delivering to the right place.

To participate in the Get Ready with Girl Scouts program, you will purchase the “Extended Year membership” for $63.00. The Extended Year membership will give your new Girl Scout access to the Get Ready with Girl Scouts program and access to the benefits of Girl Scout membership through September 30, 2026. You may see some other costs and options based on where you live:

Some councils include a “council service fee” that supports programs and operations in your local communities.
Some councils may also include special discounts for new Girl Scouts that are automatically included in your cart.
Some councils provide the option to request financial assistance when you sign up.

Click Save Details to move forward. On the next screen, you will see that the $63 Extended Year membership is separated into two charges: $18 for now through September 30, 2025 and $45 for October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026. You can sign up another person by choosing Add another participant or move forward by clicking Review Cart.

While Get Ready with Girl Scouts program is only available for new Girl Scouts entering kindergarten and first grade in fall 2025, there are opportunities for girls from kindergarten through 12th grade—AND the adventure is even better when you sign up as an adult member and join her every step of the way!

After you click the Review Cart button, you will have the opportunity to add an optional donation to support Girl Scouts. At the bottom of the page, check the box that you agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, which you can read on the right-hand side of the page.

Click Add Payment Details next.

If you’re paying by credit card, you will enter payment details on the next page.
If you’ve requested financial assistance, [fill details from screenshot]. Your local Girl Scout council will contact you about any additional information needed to complete your request.

Click Submit Payment, and you’re done! You can print your receipt, and you’ll also receive a purchase confirmation to the email provided.

Now it’s time to Get Ready with Girl Scouts! Along with your purchase confirmation, you will receive a welcome email to confirm your shipping address and the language you would like for your activity books – English or bilingual (English and Spanish together). More information about your Get Ready with Girl Scouts activity books and the e-newsletters with more resources will come your way from June through August!
