The World Foundation for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, Inc has been a proud supporter of global programs and projects of both Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) and the World Association for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) for over 50 years.
The World Foundation for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, Inc (WFGGGS) is generously supporting and funding GSUSA’s global projects and impact. Through its 111 councils and USA Girl Scouts Overseas (USAGSO) activities for U.S. girls in over 80 countries, GSUSA ensures that girls in every zip code can benefit from the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Committed to delivering high-impact programs to girls and volunteers in communities worldwide, GSUSA’s Global Girl Scouting team and USAGSO have ambitious goals for 2025 and beyond.
USAGSO will be hosting leadership training weekends and introducing new opportunities for cultural exchange and outdoor adventures to Girl Scouts across the world. The Global Girl Scouting team will pilot and test components of GSUSA’s Global Strategy with a focus on the “Girl Scout Global Citizen”. Through this and other efforts, GSUSA aims to strengthen the Girl Scout Movement’s global reach and deepen connections with the broader international Girl Guide and Girl Scout sisterhood and community.
