Girl Scout Daisies: Kindergarten–First Grade
Fun, friendship, and hands-on learning activities await first and second-year Girl Scouts.
A Girl Scout Daisy is in kindergarten or first grade of elementary school—the perfect time to become a Girl Scout! Everything Daisies do, from planting a garden to making a circle of friends, sparkles with that "first time ever" newness. Along the way, Daisies gain important social skills, learn how to be a good friend, and discover the world around them. Every Daisy meeting is an adventure filled with sisterhood, giggles, learning, and fun! She’s going to make a great Girl Scout.
New to Girl Scouts? When you sign up for the first time, you will have two options to unlock a world full of adventures, friendships, and discoveries.
Current Membership through September 30, 2026.
Anyone new to Girl Scouts can join now for $45 for girls and
$30 for adults. This is a great option if you want to jump in right
away and enjoy the rest of the current membership year.*
Extended Year Membership through September 30, 2027.
For a limited time, families who are new to Girl Scouts can
join for $91 for girls and $42 for adults. This option lets you start
early this spring and includes the entire next Girl Scout year.
No matter which route you take, Girl Scout fun awaits. Choose the one that works for you!
* The annual Girl Scout membership is valid from October 1 through September 30 of the following year. Girl Scout memberships must be renewed annually.

Get Ready with Girl Scouts 
Is your child starting kindergarten or first grade this fall?
Kick off her summer adventure with Get Ready with Girl Scouts™, a school readiness program designed just for new members – perfect for making friends and beginning her Girl Scout journey!
When she joins through Extended Year Membership*, she’ll enjoy:
- Three activity books, aligned to school readiness standards and filled with fun summer activities! Available in both English and bilingual (Spanish), the activity books will be shipped directly to her.
- E-newsletters with more activities for the whole family, including tips and resources for caregivers.
- A surprise gift just to welcome her to Girl Scouts!
- Access to everything Girl Scouts offers through September 2027.
- All while becoming part of an amazing community of friends.
When you join Girl Scouts between April 1 and June 15, you’ll receive an invitation to Let’s Go Outside! —a lively, interactive online experience hosted by the Smithsonian’s National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute. During this special event, you’ll meet amazing animals up close, get your questions answered by zoo experts, and enjoy a behind‑the‑scenes adventure.
Space is limited and available on a first‑come, first‑served basis, so signing up early gives you the best chance to join the fun.
